secretary (meeting)

In a holacratic or sociocratic organization, each Circle has a Secretary.

The person who fills the Secretary Role is elected by other Circle members.

In Holacracy, the Secretary ensures that the Circle respects the rules of the Holacracy Constitution.

During Governance Meetings and Tactical Meetings, the Secretary collaborates with the Facilitator to process Governance requests and Tensions.

The role of Secretary is important because they are the ones recording the meeting minutes that keep track of items that were discussed and decisions that were made during the meeting.
